5 Tips to Keep Your Spring Break Travels Healthy

The best way to stay healthy on Spring Break is to KEEP YOU IN MIND. I have never been a big spring break party girl.. probably because I lived in Alaska and it was like 20 degrees ha! But I created this guide for all my traveling babes who want to turn their Spring Break into a wellness packed vacation. Have so much fun!

Places I recommend

While I don’t recommend you come to Florida (there are way better beaches) it’s where I am currently parked in the van so, I know it well. These places are a bit less populated than other “hot spot” destinations for spring break. Spring break has never been a thing I’ve vacationed for but it’s apparently common so, here you go!

If you’re going to Florida
  • St. Petersburg on the West Coast (fly into St. Pete or Punta Gorda)
  • Melbourne on the East Coast
  • Jupiter on the East Coast
  • Pine Island on the West Coast (fly into Fort Myers or Punta Gorda)
  • Upper Keys (fly into Fort Lauderdale or Miami)
If you’re going further south
  • St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands
  • La Paz, Mexico
  • Jamaica
  • Haiti
  • Peru – Miraflores in particular or San Bartolo
If you’re going to California
  • Encinitas (so cute!)
  • Norther California to a rocky and cooler kind of beach
  • Arcata to be in the forest and by the ocean

5 top ways to make it a wellness vacation

  1. Disconnect and leave your phone behind as often as possible
  2. Don’t go crazy with the drinks, have a kombucha or coconut water instead
  3. Workout outside: a walk, beach workout, swim this means you’ll get sunlight, avoid artificial light and you’ll be grounding
  4. M O V E !! Bike, walk, hike and just move your booty
  5. Find healthy spots to eat, I created this site just for that!
